Today, President Biden signed the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) into law. This historic bill provides $550 billion in new spending over five years for U.S. infrastructure upgrades.
The IIJA provides historic investments for the modernization, repair, and replacement of our aging public works projects, including roads, bridges, highways, transit, internet, power grids, and water systems.
“This bipartisan infrastructure bill will positively impact nearly every corner of our country, our communities, and our industry,” said Emily Cohen, United Contractors Executive Vice President. “We applaud Members of Congress and the President for delivering this much-needed, long-overdue investment in America’s infrastructure.
